Flash Fiction Friday

Hello Readers and Writers,

Welcome to Flash Fiction Friday - the latest addition to my blog, where I will be posting a story provoking image every Friday, throughout the year. The aim is to write a piece of fiction within 100 words.

Lets get started ...

In the daylight, the house stood still, but during the night the house came alive. The inhabitants of number 106 were thought to be a rather peculiar bunch. They'd often been seen coming and going - at all hours, carrying large black containers. Nobody knew what was inside, but it couldn't be good. One night - when the moon was full, a group of kids up to no good, stole one of the containers. Eager to discover the contents, one boy hastily pulled back the lid. What was inside changed him forever. I know because I was that kid.

I'd love to read your response to this image, so please feel free to share yours in the comments section below :-)

Thanks for reading - and writing,

Louise.
