Napowrimo 2018 Day 8

Hello Readers,

Welcome to day 8 of my NaPoWriMo poetry writing challenge. Today's poem is inspired by the last three weeks of work I've completed for a university assignment. I'm sure every one of you can relate to this at one time or another.  It's called ...

Frustration

Those little bugs,
Crawl under my skin,
As a feeling of,
Frustration sets in,
I take deep breaths,
One, two, three,
The stress sinks further,
Inside of me,
They wriggle around,
Inside my head,
And I can't relax,
Not even in bed,
I try to break,
Each problem down,
As the wrinkles grow,
From every frown,
I struggle to find a way,
Out of this hole,
As it tears away,
At my soul,
I inhale again,
Hoping it will work,
Driving myself,
Completely besurk,
I clear my mind,
And take a break,
Before I make,
A huge mistake,
Then it appears,
Loud and clear,
Answering the problem,
It's finally here,
I'm overcome,
With a sigh of relief,
That puts an end,
To my grief,
Frustration really,
Is the worst,
When it appears,
You'll feel cursed,
But when it's gone,
Hold your head up high,
And wave that frustration,
Goodbye.

Thanks for reading,
Louise.
