Thirteen: The Horror Collection Rhymes

Hello Everyone,

Thirteen: The Horror Collection is currently undergoing the editing process prior to publication this month.
I have tried to take a different approach to the short stories by beginning each one with a creepy rhyme that gives a brief summary of each of the thirteen horror stories. Here they are...

THE ANTIQUE DOLL

Inside she waits silently

One hundred years

To be set free

DANCING WITH THE DEAD

Born from death

Rotting corpse

Feast upon flesh

Tonight they walk

FLESH AND BLOOD

The unity of one

Moon and sun

The sacred bond

Of flesh and blood

FRESH FLESH

On a wet and dreary night as the rain came down

Something else came to town

THE MUSIC BOX

Inside a box he waits

Until he’s freed again

He eats the Childs flesh

To be reborn from death

THE PUPPET CLOWN

The strings his prison

His body bound

For causing havoc

Murdering towns

THE AMULET

Break the rules

Pay the price

Wind the wheel

Turn back time

THE CHALICE

Stealing is a sin

Where you can never win

Always a price to pay

Resulting in decay

WORMHOLE TO HELL

Once you enter

You’ll remain

Trapped forever

In his domain

THE PACK

Cursed with blood

Buried alive

Unearthed as one

Feed or die

HALLOWEEN TOWN

Hiding in skin

Until all hallows eve

The veil wears thin

The monsters breathe

THE SIRENS SONG

Her voice echoes the shore far and wide

Devouring man after man until the end of mankind

RAGE

Fueled by life

Burning within

Replaced with rage

And murderous skin

Thanks for reading,
Louise Lake.
